Belma Baş’s debut feature to premiere in Toronto

“Zephyr,” the debut feature film by documentary and short film director Belma Baş, has been selected for the “Discovery” program of next month’s Toronto International Film Festival, where it will have its world premiere, the film’s producers announced this week.
 “Zephyr” is a thematic sequel to Baş’s previous short film “Poyraz” (Boreas), Filmik Productions said in a written statement. The Toronto film festival will mark its 35th edition from Sept. 9-19.
