Two Turkish films in the running at Flying Broom

“LOURDES”

“11’e 10 Kala” (10 to 11), directed by Pelin Esmer, and “Köprüdekiler” (Men on the Bridge), by Aslı Özge, will represent Turkey in the international feature competition at this year’s Uçan Süpürge (Flying Broom) International Women’s Film Festival in Ankara.
 Austrian Jessica Hausner’s “Lourdes,” German Almut Getto’s “Close to You” and Palestinian-American Cherien Dabis’ “Amreeka” are also among the 13 films running for the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) Jury prize in the competition. The festival’s 13th edition is slated for May 6-13.
