Bursa film festival features exhibitions

The Bursa International Silk Road Film Festival, currently in the midst of its fourth edition, is hosting exhibitions in addition to film screenings and other events in the northwestern province.

While the “Saklı Cennetler” (Hidden Heavens) and “Doğal Mekanlar” (Natural Spaces/Places) exhibitions are on view at the Tayyare Cultural Center, “Film Setlerinden Kareler” (Shots from Film Sets), which includes items from the Lale Film Cinema Museum and director Necip Sarıcı’s archives, is on display at Ressam Şefik Bursalı Art Gallery.

The exhibitions were opened on Sunday by Rıfat Bakan, general manager of Bursa Kültür A.Ş., a cultural enterprise of the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, and festival director Ali Çalışır as well as the artists whose works are being displayed. The exhibitions can be seen during the festival, which runs through Nov. 22.
