The ministry released a statement in which it said that four people, including two women aged 24 and 31, a 55-year-old man, and a five-year-old boy died in several cities of Turkey due to swine flu, raising the death toll to 15.

The first victim of the swine flu in Turkey was a 28-year-old male hospital janitor in Ankara. He died on October 24.

Swine flu also killed people in İstanbul, southeastern provinces of Diyarbakır and Şanlıurfa, and central province of Konya.
