Turkey, Slovakia sign agreement on building martyrdom

Turkey and Slovakia signed an agreement on Monday for construction of a martyrdom for Turkish soldiers who lost their lives in the Galicia front during the World War I.

Turkish National Defense Minister Vecdi Gönül, who is accompanying President Abdullah Gül during his visit to Slovakia, and Slovakian Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak signed the agreement in Bratislava.

A martyrdom and a military memorial will be built for 51 martyrs in accordance with the agreement.
