We are shocked by the Action Plan to Fight Reactionaryism, publicly known as “The Plan to Finish the AKP [Justice and Development Party, AK Party] and [Fethullah] Gülen.”

This is one of the plans that were devised to overthrow the administration and undermine the image and influence of a movement of volunteers active in more than 100 countries around the world. This is not the first time such plans have been made. Plans developed in the aftermath of decisions made during the Feb. 28 era even included interference with the call to prayer broadcast from minarets and prayers performed inside mosques. Attempts were made to reintroduce the call to prayer and the prayer itself in the Turkish language.
