Italian brand Missoni unveiled its 2009-2010 autumn-winter collection at the last show of the event, held on a platform raised above the Bosporus at Dolmabahçe Palace. The collection, which combined classical and modern designs, received resounding applause from the audience. The show was watched by actor Bruce Willis and his wife, Emma Heming, as well as famous top models Lily Donaldson and Bar Refaeli.

Vivienne Westwood's 2009-2010 collection, “Anglomania,” which was unveiled at the event, was also given an enthusiastic reception by the audience. The collection, inspired by rainforests, contained designs for the weekend in particular. Westwood is known for her desire to bring awareness to environmental issues.

On the third and final day of the event, young designers from İstanbul Municipality Arts and Crafts Training Courses (İSMEK) and Canada-based Lasalle International Academy's Turkey branch displayed their designs. İSMEK's young designers were inspired by the themes of İstanbul, the Black Sea and droughts.

İstanbul Mayor Kadir Topbaş, who was also among those in attendance, told reporters following the show that İstanbul has taken the first step to becoming a city of fashion. “I would like to thank all those who supported the event. İstanbul is a new spot for fashion. We achieved this together,” he said. Stressing that the participation of İSMEK's young designers in the event was very important for their careers, he said İstanbul will continue to host such events.

Famous fashion houses Roberto Cavalli and Gianfranco Ferré also unveiled their 2009-2010 autumn-winter collections at the event on Friday and Saturday evenings, respectively.
