[Event of the Week] PM confesses being involved in tender rigging, meddling with judiciary

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan confessed on Wednesday by admitting the authenticity of two controversial audio recordings, one of which featured him speaking with former Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin and demanding the “close monitoring” of a trial of a media mogul and the other showing Erdoğan's efforts to rig a tender.
