Police wrap up Poyrazköy excavations  - The excavations to uncover weapons and ammunition as a part of the investigation into Ergenekon, a clandestine terrorist organization charged with plotting to overthrow the government, on land belonging to Bedrettin Dalan’s İstek Foundation in Poyrazköy reportedly ended on Monday.

The weapons and ammunition found during the excavations and the videos taken during the excavations were shown to members of the press by the İstanbul Police Anti-Terrorism Department. A statement distributed to the media stated that the excavations, which were initiated on April 21 upon the exploration permit given by the İstanbul 10th High Criminal Court, ended on Monday. According to the statement, the munitions that were found were: 14 hand grenades, 24 hand grenade fuses, 450 grams of C-3 explosive, five booby traps, two used booby traps, 45 smoke bombs, a 30-meter-long detonating cord, a 38-meter-long time fuse, 3,017 bullets of various makes, 23 signal flares, 15 other fuses, 15 charged light anti-tank weapons and six empty light anti-tank weapons.
