Oktay, who was found heavily wounded in his car in Ankara's Çankaya district, was taken to the Gazi University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police found two guns in his car.

Oktay's body was sent to the Forensic Medicine Council for an autopsy. His remains will be sent to his hometown, Malatya, for burial after the autopsy. Oktay is expected to be laid to rest today (Thursday). Officials from the Ankara Police Department said an investigation was launched into the incident.
