Şan's ‘Zeynep' represents Turkey at Egypt film fest

"Zeynep'in Sekiz Günü" (Zeynep's Eight Days), the first installment in Turkish film director Cemal Şan's Trilogy of Love, will run in the international feature competition in this year's Alexandria International Film Festival in Egypt, the film's producers announced last week.

The drama, starring Fadik Sevin Atasoy in its title role, centers on the themes of love, loneliness and desperation. The Alexandria Film Festival's 24th edition will run Aug. 26-30.
