There is a belief floating around that anytime Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey scores, someone famous or infamous kicks the bucket.
The coincidences began on May 1, 2011, when the Wales captain scored for Arsenal against Manchester United. The next day, al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was killed.
On Oct. 2, 2011, Ramsey netted a goal for the Gunners against Tottenham Hotspur and three days later Apple boss Steve Jobs died.
On Oct. 19, 2011, the Welsh “mystic” scored against Marseille in the UEFA Champions League. The next day Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi was killed.
Then on Feb. 11, 2012, Ramsey scored in Arsenal's game against Sunderland. Later that night famous US singer Whitney Houston died.
Now Ramsey has netted three goals for Arsenal -- one last Wednesday and two on Tuesday -- against Fenerbahçe within a week. And superstitious fans are asking, which well-known figure will be the next to die?
And -- maybe, just maybe -- even if no one dies this time around, someone may be fired.
