Bursaspor took a 2-0 lead at the end of the first half with goals by Chile striker Sebastian Pinto in the 43rd minute and Colombian midfielder Pablo Martin Batalla in the 45th minute. Batuhan Karadeniz reduced the difference to one, chesting the ball into the Bursaspor net in the 66th minute, while Erkan Zengin scored the equalizer three minutes later. Yet the tie lasted only for four minutes, with Bursaspor setting the score at 3-2 after Batalla’s free-kick goal. Bursaspor climbed into second place in the playoff group, trailing Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor by one point. Eskişehirspor fell to third place. Sivasspor occupies the bottom spot.
