If possible Turkey would have changed our location on map, says Greek Cypriot minister
Greek Cypriot Foreign Minister Erato Kozaku Markulli has stated that Turkey is insistent on not cooperating with neighbor country Greek Cyprus, saying that, if possible, Turkey would have changed the position of Greek Cyprus on the map.

According to Greek Cypriot news outlet Fileleftheros, Markulli remarked, speaking to an Austrian news outlet: “We do not exist for Ankara, and [Turks] do not allow us to contact them at any level. Turkey cooperates neither on crime nor on the issue of flight security.”

Commenting on the progress recently made on the issue of returning illegal migrants to Turkey following the EU visa elimination for Turks, Markulli said: “In regards to the EU, Turkey needs to cooperate with each EU member. Having an agreement that does not suit one of the EU members is impossible. Again, we have emphatically demonstrated that Turkey cannot behave unequally with the EU."
