Bob Sinclar, the Grammy-nominated French record producer and house music DJ, is preparing for a performance in the Aegean resort town of Çeşme in İzmir province.

The creator of countless worldwide dance hits, including “Love Generation,” “I Feel for You,” “World, Hold On” and “Rock the Boat,” Sinclar will take to the stage on the night of June 30 at the Babylon Aya Yorgi Club.

Originally born Christophe Le Friant, Sinclar started DJing at the age of 18 under the nickname “Chris the French Kiss” and described his musical style as inspired by “peace, love and house-music.”

His first single, “Gym Tonic,” appeared as favorite club tune in 1998 and he started working with Thomas Bangalter, one half of the iconic duo Daft Punk. In 2005, he released the single “Love Generation,” which was a huge success throughout Europe. This massive hit song also became one of the official anthems for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

The follow-up hit “World, Hold On,” which features Steve Edwards, also managed to chart in the top 10 in most European countries. A remix of the song was nominated for a 2007 Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical. Sinclar’s album “Made in Jamaica,” released in 2010, was nominated for the best reggae album at the 48th Annual Grammy Music Awards.

On June 29, ahead of Sinclar’s eagerly anticipated performance, Babylon Aya Yorgi will host a live performance by young French singer Isabelle Geffroy, better known by her nickname “Zaz.”

Tickets for both performances can be purchased at Biletix.
