To celebrate the 400th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkey and the Netherlands, a special Holland Village will be in Ankara from June 9-14 at Kentpark Shopping Mall.

In cooperation with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation, the Netherlands Embassy in Ankara is bringing the Holland Village, which comprises 12 traditional Dutch houses with traditional gables, a windmill, a greenhouse and a stage where shows will be performed.

The Holland Village will display aspects of traditional Dutch lifestyle and will feature typical Dutch attractions such as poffertjes (a kind of pancake), street organs, a traditional national costume parade, floral workshops and more.

Visitors will be able to view demonstrations of wooden clog-making and glass blowing and discover Dutch floricultural products.

The village will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays and 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.on the weekend.
