Armed assault in Diyarbakır kills one

One person died in an armed assault in the Bağlar district of the eastern province of Diyarbakır on Tuesday.
The assailant opened fire on another person in front of Bağlar Maternity and Children's Hospital. The victim later died from the gunshot wound. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
