Turkey’s first fast seafood chain, Dardenia, opened two locations in İstanbul, serving only a fish menu to match traditional Turkish tastes.
The new chain offers a wide range of seafood options, from the traditional Turkish fish and bread, fish soup, calamari, anchovies and mussels as well as tempura and sushi. A brand of popular Turkish canned seafood company Dardanel, Dardenia expects to open new stores in the next months. Consumers who would like to enjoy light food in the heat of summer can also find fish and salad dishes at Dardenia. The chain introduces itself as the “freshest seafood sales point.”
