Organized jointly by the İstanbul Provincial Education Directorate and the İstanbul 2010 Capital of Culture Agency, the biennial will be open to participation by more than 3,000 students from Beyoğlu and Kadıköy to Tuzla and Sultanbeyli. The biennial will feature presentations, panel discussions, video shows, stage performances and works of art in disciplines such as photography, painting and sculpture.
Over 3,000 children and young people, including disadvantaged children, street kids and incarcerated minors, will have the opportunity to participate in the event as artists. Officials expect over 70,000 visitors for the event.
