Man kills wife, mother-in-law, self in Bursa

The incident took place in Karacabey. S.Ö., a 30-year-old construction worker, shot his wife, B.Ö. (27), and then his 48-year-old mother-in-law, N.C., to death in broad daylight in the street. S.Ö. later killed himself with a shot to the head. The woman reportedly sought police protection and applied to a woman’s shelter because she had been subjected to domestic violence. The woman was staying at her mother’s home after she filed for divorce from her husband. The couple had a 6-year-old daughter. The woman was going to the market when the tragedy took place. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
