The Democratic Society Congress (DTK) is organizing the event called “Justice for Roboski”, the Kurdish name for Uludere.
In a press statement released on Tuesday, officials from the BDP Batman office said they will also join the event, which will be held on the night of June 27 in the form of a sit-in protest.
BDP officials expressed their anger at the government’s failure to find those responsible for the airstrike that killed 34 civilians on Dec. 28, 2011. BDP Batman Unit’s Deputy President Ayşe Ağılgat noted that the BDP was part of the DTK, saying they will join the “justice watch” on the night of June 27 to protest the airstrike.
