International tech giant IBM inaugurated a new company office in Bursa this week, celebrating the new facility’s opening at a ceremony in Bursa’s Çelik Palas Hotel.
Company representatives say the new office, IMB’s fourth in Turkey, will be a service center for the growing tech needs of Turkish firms. IBM’s operations in Turkey also included the 2008 opening of a flagship office in İzmir, where the company focuses on improving the energy efficiency of its clients’ hardware and runs a “disaster recovery center,” which securely stores sensitive data.
