This week, at the Computex tech convention in Taipei, Taiwanese computer manufacturer Acer unveiled a new lineup of touchscreen tablets and all-in-one PCs running the newly developed Windows 8 operating system.
Acer’s new notebooks and laptops, which will hit Turkish shelves in late 2012, are hybrids between computer and tablet platforms: Acer’s Iconia tablet can dock with an optional cradle to function as a laptop, while Acer’s sleek aluminum-bodied Ultrabook features the touchscreen capabilities of a tablet and the full keyboard of a laptop.
