Customs officials and privates held on bribery charges

Teams from the Silopi Police Department Anti-smuggling and Organized Crime Department conducted the operation, acting on information from an anonymous tipster. Two of the detained had recently completed their compulsory military service, police sources said.

Those detained were referred to the Silopi Prosecutor's Office after their interrogation at the local police station.
