The Super Final Europa League group playoffs conclude after the two week six encounters on Saturday. Cellar-dweller Sivasspor, with 29 points, is out of contention in what has now turned into a three-horse race.
Sivasspor hosts second-place Eski-şehirspor (33 points) at 4 Eylül Stad-ium in a match the visiting side must win and hopes that leader Bursaspor (34 points) stumbles away against third-place İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor (32 points).
This means that if Bursaspor wins, the result of the Sivasspor-Eskişehirspor will be rendered meaningless. But if İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor beats Bursa and Eskişehirspor slips at Sivas, then Aris Erdem’s İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor will finish at the top. The winner of this playoff will play against the team that finishes fourth in the Super Final championship playoff for a berth in the UEFA Europa League next season.
The Sivasspor-Eskişehirspor match will be refereed by Bülent Yıldırım and the İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor-Bursaspor match by İlker Meral. The two matches start at 4 p.m.
