Turkish rider Sofuoğlu places third

Turkish motorcyclist Kenan Sofuoğlu came third in the fourth round of the 2012 Supersport World Championship season in Italy at Sunday’s race but still managed to keep the lead in the riders’ standings overall.

Sofuoğlu, of team Kawasaki DeltaFin Lorenzini, trailed the round’s leading French rider, Jules Cluzel, from the team PTR Honda, and Cluzel’s teammate, British rider Sam Lowes. The next race is set to take place on May 13 in the UK.
