Turks shine at clubs championship

Turkey's seniors weightlifting clubs championship finals continued on Saturday in Antalya with the women's 63 and 69-kilogram and the men's 77, 85 and 94-kilogram weight classes.

In the women's 63-kilogram class, Neslihan Okumuş from Konya took home the gold, lifting 209 kilograms. In the women's 69-kilogram class, Sümeyye Kenetli, lifting 200 kilograms, won the gold medal.

Ekrem Celil from Ankara, lifting 303 kilograms, won the gold medal for the men's 77-kilogram class. Nezir Sağır, also from Ankara, took home the gold for the men's 85-kilogram class after lifting 343 kilograms. In the men's 94-kilogram class, in the final match of the evening, Nail İsmailov from Antalya lifted 315 kilograms and won the gold.

The finals continued on Sunday with the women's 75-kilograms and above and the men's 105-kilograms and above weight classes.
