Players' yellow card records to be wiped clean ahead of Super Final

Fifteen footballers from the teams that have earned a berth in the championship playoffs at the end of the regular season, aka the Super Final, will be freed from yellow card accumulations that put them on the verge of suspension.

The players with three yellow cards from Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, Trabzonspor and Beşiktaş will not be suspended from any Super Final games even if they receive a fourth yellow card this weekend, which would normally bar them from at least the following official game. A Turkish Football Federation (TFF) regulation allows for accumulated yellow cards to be cleared, which prevents yellow card offenses from keeping players out of the Super Final.

Galatasaray's Tomas Ujfalusi, Semih Kaya, Fernando Muslera, Necati Ateş, Emre Çolak and Emmanuel Eboue; Fenerbahçe's Emre Belözoğlu, Gökhan Gönül, Mehmet Topuz and Orhan Şam; Trabzonspor's Giray Kaçar, Serkan Balcı, Olcan Adın and Paulo Henrigue; and Beşiktaş's Roberto Hilbert each have three yellow cards.
