A group of unidentified individuals stole an ATM machine located next to a Turkish Hard Coal Enterprises (TTK) building in Zonguldak at around 3 a.m. Tuesday, TTK workers who witnessed the theft have reported.

The number of individuals who staged the robbery is not clear, but police have established that the thieves entered a glass kiosk hosting three ATMs, uninstalled one, loaded it onto a minibus and drove off. The bank to which the ATM machine belongs was not disclosed by police.

Security cameras inside the kiosk have not been functional since Dec. 6. A security camera on the street nearby showed the minibus parking and driving off, but its license plate number was not visible.

The ATM, weighing 480 kilograms (1,058 pounds), contained TL 151,000.
