Turkey says quake death toll increases to 570

The Prime Ministry's Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD) has announced that the death toll following a powerful earthquake that struck eastern Turkey on Sunday stands at 570 as of Friday morning.
AFAD also said 2,250 people were injured in the 7.2-magnitude quake that hit the eastern province of Van. The directorate said 187 people have been rescued from collapsed buildings since the quake.
