22 people arrested, 991 illegal weapons seized

Twenty-two people were arrested for smuggling weapons, and with them 991 weapons and 1,297 bullets were seized in Kırşehir and Ankara on Friday.
Gendarmes arrested 22 people for smuggling weapons and ammunition into Turkey during home and workplace searches in Ankara and Kırşehir.
According to the Kırşehir gendarmerie, eight handguns, 574 gas guns, 390 sonic weapons, 19 shotguns and 1,297 bullets were seized. The gendarmerie suspects that the people they arrested are members of a network, and their investigation is continuing.
