Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu was stuck at Sivas Nuri Demirağ Airport after the engine of the helicopter that was to take him to Bingöl broke down on Thursday morning.
Kılıçdaroğlu's election rally in Sivas had already been cancelled due to the same problem on Wednesday. As mechanics attempted to fix the engine in Sivas, Kılıçdaroğlu waited in the airport's VIP lounge. He later took a private plane to an airport near Bingöl and reached the city by motor vehicle.
