President Gül to host iftar for families of slain soldiers
The iftar is expected to be attended by a total number of 300 people, including guests other than the families. An official from the President’s Office will sit at each iftar table, to attend to the invitees. An İstanbul city tour will also be organized for the guests on Sunday.
During the dinner at the Çankaya presidential palace last year, which was attended by 231 guests from 62 provinces, Gül told the families of members of the security forces killed in the line of duty that their pain will not be ignored and assured them that the state will find the best solution for the Kurdish issue.
