Arriving at the scene, a rescue team from the Düzce Municipality removed the injured people trapped inside the bus, and ambulances rushed the injured to nearby hospitals, including Düzce Atatürk State Hospital, Düzce University’s Medical School Hospital and the private Hayri Sivrikaya Hospital.

An ambulance driven by Harun Danacı overturned on the same road due to a slippery surface while it was returning from the scene of the accident to its base.
