Namık Tan becomes new Turkish ambassador to US

Namık Tan has become Turkey's new Ambassador in Washington D.C, United States on Thursday.

Foreign Ministry Deputy Undersecretary Namık Tan replaced Nabi Şensoy, former Turkish Ambassador in Washington D.C.

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu made a notification about the assignment and the appointment would be put into effect after being published in the Official Gazette.
