Sezer brings Turkey’s first gold medal in European Weightlifting

Bünyamin Sezer from Turkey won gold medal on the second day of European Weightlifting Championship, which is hosted by Turkey's southern province of Antalya.

Sezer, competing in men's 62 kg category, lifted 142 kg in snatch which earned him a gold medal.

Florin Ionut Croitoru of Romania ranked the second with 131 kg and Dimitris Minasidis from Greek Cyprus ranked the third by lifting 130 kg.

In 1983, Turkish Cypriots proclaimed the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, which is recognised ONLY by Turkey. Your article refers to Dimitris Minasidis as representing Greek Cyprus.Is there any other Cyprus?
