Award-winning shorts at Cervantes for Women’s Day

The Cervantes Institute in İstanbul will mark this week’s March 8 International Women’s Day with a selection of short films by women.
The Taksim-based cultural center will host a selection of six short films by female filmmakers that have won awards in Spain’s VisualizaMe audiovisual festival, which held its inaugural edition in 2011. Titled “Beni Fark Et” (Recognize Me), the screening program is scheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Cervantes Institute. Admission will be free of charge.
