Deaths from torture and our country's ministers

After reading about the torturing to death of a young man at the hands of police, I feel like I'm having a heart attack. I am embarrassed and ashamed, both for myself and for my children.

I am 75 years old now and I want to apologize. I am ashamed that we are leaving such a nation behind for younger generations. Engin Ceber was killed in prison, and who knows what his three friends, Özgür Karakaya, Cihan Gün, Aysu Baykal, have experienced and what more they will experience both inside and outside of prison. No doubt the person to first hear of my embarrassment was our prime minister, who asserts he has "zero tolerance for torture." With all of the governmental ministers that exist, should the responsibility for every mistake and incident of neglect be laid on the prime minister? At the very least, Turkish ministers owe the Turkish people an open apology for what has happened.
