Report: Turkish jets strike PKK targets in northern Iraq

Turkish fighter jets struck terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) bases in northern Iraq early on Friday, media reports have said.

A news story posted on the website of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (KYB) in northern Iraq claimed that four Turkish F-16 jets struck PKK targets in the region.

It said Turkish warplanes heavily shelled the PKK's Hakurk camp, which straddles the border between Turkey, Iraq and Iran.
