Pegasus, one of Turkey's leading private carriers, announced on Tuesday that it will begin flying to four more international destinations in October.
The new destinations will be Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, the Georgian city of Batumi, the Serbian capital of Belgrade and Lviv in Ukraine. Speaking to Today's Zaman, Pegasus General Manager Sertaç Haybat said the carrier currently has a fleet of 42 planes that fly to 20 domestic and 34 international locations. He also noted that Pegasus increased its number of domestic flights by 25 percent and international flights by 31 percent in first half of the year, transporting 6.1 million passengers.
