Int'l demand pushes 90 pct of prayer rugs sales abroad

Nursace Tekstil CEO İsmail Bayezıt has stated that international demand for prayer rugs has shifted so that 90 percent of sales are in exports.

Bayezıt pointed out that the sales volume in the sector has reached $1 billion, providing jobs for 80,000 to 100,000 people. He stated that the company has received an invitation to manufacture in Indonesia. Nursace provides its international customers with hand-woven prayer rugs reflecting Ottoman era styles.
