They will try again

5 August 2012 /GÜLTEKİN AVCI
The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) will attempt another attack like the latest one in Hakkari's Şemdinli district. Why? First because of the recent releases of Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) suspects.

Second, the third judicial reform package introduced several laws in favor of the terrorist organizations. And also just as northern Iraq has been constituting a safe area for the PKK, the fact that northern Syria has now been added to that by the hands of the PKK-linked Democratic Union Party (PYD) has expanded the PKK's room for maneuver and the area from where it operates. The PKK continues to take advantage of the chaos in Syria with maximum effectiveness. Also, with a Turkey that has a strategy of no longer focusing on attacking but rather on defending itself, the PKK will surely move on to bigger attacks.
