Another Azerbaijani soldier killed along border with Armenia

8 June 2012 /TODAY'S ZAMAN
Tension along the border separating Armenia and Azerbaijan continues as cease-fire violations claimed one more Azerbaijani soldier's life on Friday, increasing the death toll to nine this week.

As a result of exchanges of gunfire started early this week, five soldiers from the Azerbaijani side and three soldiers from among the Armenian troops were killed in clashes.

According to a statement made by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, Armenian forces opened heavy fire along the frontline between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the Azerbaijani military responded. The Azerbaijani soldier died after a mine in the conflict zone between Armenia and Azerbaijan exploded.

The statement says the conflict has intensified since yesterday.

NATO also responded to the escalating tension along the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, expressing its regret about the deadly border clash. “We hope the situation will not lead to instability in the region,” said William Lahue, the alliance's liaison officer for the South Caucasus.

I like the way you portray and report the details of the incident to show the Azerbaijani propaganda and their inferiority phobia is engrained in their psych. How an Azeri soldier died, not by an Armenian bullet but by simply bad luck of an exploding mine. It was a mine probably placed by Azerbaijan...

This is what you get and it will get even worst, when NATO just comes out with ridiculous and pointless statements so that they appease their energy provider Azerbaijan. All attacks and provocations are started by Azerbaijan so that the domestic pressure that the dictator Aliev has started to feel g...
