Beşiktaş at negotiating table to acquire Arsenal's Özyakup

Turkish football powerhouse Beşiktaş, which has recently been facing financial troubles, announced its interest in acquiring Arsenal midfielder Oğuzhan Özyakup on Monday.

The club said in a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that it has started negotiations for the transfer of the 19-year-old. Özyakup, born and raised in the Netherlands, joined Arsenal's youth team in 2008 and moved to the professional team last year.
