Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received the board and football players of the Kasımpaşa A.Ş. football club, which recently advanced to the top division after winning the playoffs, in Ankara on Monday.
Erdoğan, an ardent football fan, met with the Kasımpaşa members at the central building of the Prime Ministry. The prime minister said he watched the final playoff game of Kasımpaşaspor against Adanaspor and that Adana people must understand that it is only natural for him to support the team from where he was born and grew up, İstanbul’s Kasımpaşa district. He later wished the team success next year in the Super League.
