3-year-old child missing for two weeks found dead

Bozkurt, whose family came to Seyitgazi’s Doğançayır village from Şanlıurfa to work as seasonal workers, went missing 14 days ago. An extensive search was conducted by gendarmerie officers who came upon slippers belonging to Yakup at a location five kilometers away from the tent. After further investigations carried out in that area, gendarmerie officers found Yakup’s body, which had been buried. The gendarmerie retrieved Yakup’s body and it was then taken to Seyitgazi State Hospital, from where it was sent to the Eskişehir Osmangazi University (ESOGÜ) Hospital for an autopsy. It is not certain whether the incident is being treated as murder or not, but the police have launched a full-scale investigation into the incident.
