Former Galatasaray coach Karl-Heinz Feldkamp has said the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) will take action against the Turkish Football Federation’s (TFF) dead-end match-fixing probe into Turkey’s football clubs.
Feldkamp, in comments to Radyospor, said the lack of prosecution in the match-fixing probe into Turkish clubs has led to huge disappointment in Europe. “The clubs investigated in the match-fixing probe should have been penalized,” he said. “I was disappointed and saddened by the TFF’s decision to not penalize the clubs.” Feldkamp believes UEFA will take action but is waiting for a decision to come from the TFF. “The UEFA will have a harsh reaction. This reaction will follow the 2012 European Football Championship finals,” he said.
