Peruvian film ‘Dias de Santiago’ at Akbank center

The Akbank Art Center in İstanbul’s Taksim will host a screening of the Peruvian film “Dias de Santiago” (Days of Santiago) this weekend as part of its January film program focusing on recent movies by Latin American filmmakers.
Directed by Peruvian filmmaker Josue Mendez, the 2004 drama follows Santiago, a 23-year-old Peruvian army veteran as he struggles to reintegrate himself into society upon returning from military service. The showing is scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m. and admission is free of charge.
