Cemil Güç’s new show a brand new look at apple

Turkish artist Cemil Güç’s newest collection of sculptures is currently on display at Galeri Selvin in İstanbul’s Arnavutköy quarter.
Titled “Elma & Apple,” Güç’s collection that went on display on Jan. 11 at Selvin is made up of the 38-year-old sculptor’s minimalistic depictions of apples, the fruit; a form that is so familiar and yet ever-compelling to the human eye. The exhibition will remain on display through Feb. 11 at the gallery. Visiting hours: 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
