PM Erdoğan still resting, plans to attend Monday's Cabinet meeting

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan who underwent laparoscopic surgery on Saturday for a stomach condition is recovering in his İstanbul home and plans to attend a Cabinet meeting on Monday, the deputy prime minister has said.
Erdoğan, who was discharged from the Marmara University Training and Research Hospital on Monday, is in good health, but no visitors are being allowed due to the possibility of an infection, the Anatolia news agency said on Thursday.
Deputy Prime Minister Bülent Arınç also said on Friday that the prime minister is fine and that he plans to resume his duties as of Monday, when he plans to attend the Cabinet meeting.
Erdoğan's operation was publicized only a few days after it took place at the Marmara University Training and Research Hospital.
